PUBLIC MULE PACKING TRAINING
Here at Mountain Mule Packers Training Center, we can give instruction on beginning to advanced packing techniques for individuals and small and large groups. Courses can be specially designed to cover the needs of all students, whether they have never ridden or packed mules before, or if they are long time riders wanting to advance their packing knowledge. Short and long term boarding for stock is available for students of the courses that have their own horses or mules. Overnight camping facilities with and without hookups are available, as well as simulation backcountry camps for course practices.

Boy scout/girl scout/4-h/youth group instruction
Mule Packing and Animal Handling and Riding instruction is available for 4-H groups, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, as well as many other youth groups or organizations. These courses are short, and offer education of pack and riding animals, history of mules and packing, explanation of equipment used and its care, dutch oven cooking, and Leave No Trace principles. Overnight camping is available for groups participating in the courses. Try something different for your next youth group activity!
Corporate team building courses
Have a corporate team, and looking for a great outdoor experience that demands teamwork? Mule Packing may be the thing to try. We can tailor programs for individual businesses or corporations to give all involved opportunities to learn, try new things, see how working together with everyone having an integral role, will produce desired results and great trips.
