Honoring Vader, Amigo & Kev

Thank you to all who came out to the Black Mountain Relief Station distribution event. Even with the rainy weather, we had a great turnout of both volunteers and communities!

Yesterday was the first outing since losing Vader, Kev, and Amigo last Sunday. We hung their halters adorned with simple American flag name tags, on the panel by their mule family. Their halters, labeled in remembrance, will now be retired while they run free in Heaven’s green pastures.

And today, as we loaded up to set up a base camp in Virginia to help our northern neighbors suffering from horrible flooding and storms, we think we felt a bray of approval on the new members of the team that were loaded. And Vader, Kev, and Amigo….thank you for your service, loyalty, and love. You will never be forgotten.
