Mountain Mule Packers specializes in mule packing, whether packing a private group into the backcountry wilderness for a private escape, packing in camp gear for hikers to have a “deluxe” backpacker camp, or packing in trail restoration equipment and supplies for trail repair crews.

YOUTH AND GROUP INSTRUCTION
Civilian Mule Packing Training
We give instruction on Beginning to Advanced packing techniques to individuals and small and large groups.
Courses can be specially designed to cover the needs of all participants, whether they have never ridden or packed mules before, or if they are long-time riders wanting to advance their packing knowledge.

Youth Group Instruction
Mule Packing, Animal Handling, and Riding instruction is available for 4‑H groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, as well as many other youth groups or organizations.
These courses are short, and offer education of pack and riding animals, history of mules and packing, explanation of equipment used and its care, Dutch oven cooking, and Leave No Trace principles.
Overnight camping is available for groups participating in the courses. Try something different for your next youth group activity!
