Three – No, Four Little Kittens

Update 10/11/24 6 am: Just wanted to share this quick story. About the third day of the trip, the packers found a mama cat and a very newborn kitten in one of the trailers. The gals put the cats in their truck, and once they got on the road, brought them to a local vet.

The next day Amanda kept hearing cries, and everyone just thought she was extra tired! But, after some searching, they found three newborn kittens in the hay!

Apparently the mama cat had hidden them in the hay and then went elsewhere to have the one they found her with first. Several people at camp sprang into action and created a “formula” to give them. Amanda warmed the kittens up in her shirt…and a kind, new friend found an animal shelter that could help and drove them over, and FOUND where the mama cat was in Newland shelter so they could be reunited!!

Mountain rock with white and pink art like a cross, hearts, flowers
The rock caught Bob’s eye while he was riding, and, to me, just represents the beauty and hope in these mountains.

Packers are packing up, and mules will be loaded later this morning. It’s time to get back and see if there are more they can help. I’ll update you when they are off so we can all pray for travel mercies! God bless!
